What’s the difference between Boneshakers, Jackhammers, and Bullies?
Our aftermarket slip-ons come in three aggression/volume levels: loud (Boneshakers), louder (Jackhammers), and loudest (Bullies). All three baffle styles are thunderously loud and designed and punched in-house at our shop in North Carolina, but there are noticeable volume and tone variations among them.
What type of coating are the black pipes?
Black slip-ons and billet end caps have a special Cerakote ceramic finish that’s ultra-resistant to heat and physical wear and tear. Cerakote is superior to high-temp paint and is preferred by riders who regularly find themselves cruising in intense environments.
Why the megaphone-shaped muffler body?
It’s not a coincidence that voice-amplifying megaphones are designed that way! That shape projects the sound farther down the road, so the neighbors hear you coming. They look awesome, too. But more importantly, it’s a science-backed design that makes a huge difference in how far the roar travels.
Are Boneshakers’ slip-on mufflers street-legal?
Most of our customers don’t run into any issues, but it’s better to be safe than sorry when dealing with raw power and law power! Check your local noise ordinances to make sure there aren’t any restrictions in place.
Do Boneshakers mufflers require professional installation?
Not at all. Our cat-back design uses your bike’s existing mounting points and hardware for a hassle-free installation in under an hour. All you need is some basic hand tools for a straightforward DIY setup.
What bikes are Boneshakers compatible with?
We mainly design slip-ons for Harley-Davidson Touring and Cruiser models. With that said, we’re planning to add more products to our inventory, so we may have slip-ons for your bike soon. If your bike isn’t listed, drop us a line. We’ll provide you with an update or assist you in tracking something down.

Are Boneshakers really louder than other slip-ons?
Louder is an understatement, my friend! Their piercing volume is legendary. We design our unique megaphone-style baffles in-house to guarantee that they roar like no other. Beyond volume, they have a clean, deep-throated tone you just can’t get anywhere else.
How do your mufflers affect performance?
Many of our customers report performance gains. Our slip-ons are expertly tuned to enhance exhaust flow, resulting in improved throttle response with a distinctive growl and pull that’ll have you grinning from ear to ear. To maximize performance gains, we recommend pairing them with a tuner.
Is everything really made in the USA?
